Sahra-Josephine Hjorth is a Danish founder, AI operator, investor and human rights activist based between Mexico City and Copenhagen. She has worked through several shifts in artificial intelligence, from machine learning and natural language processing to generative AI and agentic systems, and has spent more than a decade building technology companies across Europe, Latin America, the United States and Asia. She co-founded CanopyLAB, an AI learning company used in more than 90 countries; Pavoreal.ai, an agentic AI agency; and Ganax, an AI-powered creator economy platform built in Mexico. She is an Expert in AI & Purpose at Singularity University and an Obama Foundation Leader, and has introduced President Barack Obama on stage at the Copenhagen Democracy Summit. She writes a trilingual essay series on the collapse of the edtech industry and publishes Startups Mexico, an independent newsletter about technology and capital seen from Mexico City.
