On December 8th, 2016, CanopyLAB co-founder Sahra-Josephine Hjorth will give a speech on Scaling the Classroom at the Nordic Edtech Conference. The conference is hosted by edTech startup Peergrade and DTU.
The conference aims to bring together startups, education professionals, and thought leaders for a one-day conference focusing on innovation in higher education.
Sahra-Josephine recently talked about the Future of Learning at an event organized by SingularityU Denmark. Here she told audiences about how CanopyLAB has “banned” teachers from their virtual classroom, and she called for more diverse voices in the eLearning space.
“When we consider the important role that for example museums and NGOs play in encouraging societal debate and in the education of youth, I feel confident that it is simply due to a lack of resources that we don’t see more of these players in the eLearning space. And as more eLearning platforms, just like CanopyLAB, help make the eLearning space more affordable, we will se more diverse voices occupying it”.

We look forward to meeting you at the Nordic Edtech Conference. There are still tickets available, and the event is free of charge.
